Jose A. Cortes Roman, born on December 19th, 1963, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, passed away on January 2nd, 2025, in the Bronx, New York. He was 61 years old.
Jose was the youngest of six siblings and the beloved son of Manuel Cortes and Luz Roman. Throughout his life, he was known for his vibrant spirit and passion for music, cars, and coin collecting. He embraced life with enthusiasm and a zest that left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
He leaves behind three children: Albert J. Cortes Diaz, Heisha I. Nevarez, and Adiel J. Cortes Diaz; as well as two cherished grandsons: Lorenzo M. Nevarez and Antonio J. Nevarez.
Jose’s love for life and his many interests brought joy to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
